Have you ever wondered why a casino would pay for someone’s hotel, airfare, meals, or transportation just to come gamble?
That’s basically how casino junkets work.
A casino junket travel agency partners with casinos and brings them players who are expected to gamble a certain amount during their stay.
Instead of focusing only on whether a player wins or loses, casinos calculate something called ‘theoretical loss.’
Theoretical loss estimates how much the casino expects to earn from a player over time based on their average bet, how long they play, how many bets they make, and the house advantage of the game.
For example, someone betting $200 a hand for several hours may be worth significantly more to the casino than someone betting $25 occasionally.
Because the casino expects to make money from that gambling activity over the long run, it may give part of that expected revenue back to the player as comps.
Those comps can include free hotel rooms, airfare reimbursement, meals, transportation, resort credits, free play, or VIP experiences.
The junket agency acts as the middleman. It finds qualified players, arranges the trip, and works with the casino to track whether the player meets the agreed gambling requirements.
Importantly, a player usually doesn’t have to lose money to earn the comps. Someone could actually win during the trip and still qualify, as long as they provide the required amount of casino play.
Think of it like customer acquisition: the casino is willing to spend money getting a valuable gambler through the door because, statistically, the casino expects to make that money back over many trips and many players.
That’s why casino junkets can offer surprisingly expensive trips — the vacation isn’t really free. Your gambling activity is what makes the deal valuable to the casino.

You call, or you write
Ring (800) 869-9868 or (561) 744-1990, or send a note to ken@kenfroomtours.com. Tell us as much or as little as you like — a casino, a cruise, a date, or simply "somewhere warm where they know my name."
A live agent answers. That part never changes.

We verify your casino history
Our casino specialists review your play — where you've played, your rating, your loyalty tiers, milestones and celebrations. This is the homework that turns a fair offer into a remarkable one.
Returning clients skip straight ahead — we already know.

We negotiate your comps
Armed with your history and forty-four years of host relationships, we go to the casinos and cruise lines directly — pursuing complimentary rooms, food and beverage, free play, upgrades, and courtesies that never appear on a public rate. Then we present you a complete proposal: trip, comps, and price.
You approve it, refine it, or send us back to sharpen our pencils.

Everything is arranged — and stays arranged
Once you say the word, we book the rooms and cabins, coordinate flights and transfers, place your reservations, and hand you one elegant itinerary. While you travel, we remain a phone call away — and if anything shifts mid-trip, we're the ones who deal with it.
Your only job: show up and play.
Why We Work This Way
Because the best comps never meet a booking engine
Casinos and cruise lines reserve their finest courtesies for junket operators who bring them loyal, well-rated players — and for people they know by name. That's a currency no website can spend. When we pick up the phone for you, four decades of those relationships go with us.
